California MCLE Requirements
Required CLE: 25 MCLE Hours
Special CLE Credit Requirements: The total hours of MCLE must include 4 hours of Legal Ethics MCLE, 1 hour of Competence Issues, and 1 hour of Recognition and Elimination of Bias in the Legal Profession and Society.
Reporting Period: 36 months
Additional Information: At least 1/2 MCLE hours must be activities that are approved for "participatory" MCLE credit. No more than 12.5 hours of MCLE can be self-study hours. If an attorney accrues more than the 25 MCLE hours they can not be rolled over into the next reporting period.
